The Jamboulay Carnival  Arts Promotion is based in the diverse borough of Hackney – East London and has been in existence since 1996. We are a costume carnival band focusing on historical and traditional carnival Arts. We are also a voluntary Non-profit making group managed by a management committee with charitable purposes.

Alternatively, you can download the application form, fill it in and return to us with your fees. Please note that all payments must be completed at least three weeks before the festival. we will contact you to confirm availability of the options selected.

Welcome to Jamboulay Carnival Arts Promotion

Jamboulay Carnival Arts Promotion is an active member of the Local Arts Network and Carnival Cluster group in the borough of Hackney including several years member participation with NHMBA now currently (CAMF).

Jamboulay Carnival Arts Promotion is a costume carnival band focusing on historical and traditional carnival Arts. It is also a voluntary Non-profit making group managed by a management committee with charitable purposes led by a group of volunteers.

The group is based in the diverse borough of Hackney – East London and has been in existence since 1996.

Over the years, Jamboulay has taken part in on road parade for Nottinghill, Hackney, and other national Carnivals including the Isles of Wight illuminating night carnivals. As part of the Carnival Development Arts Network (CAD-net), Jamboulay organised and delivered costume master classes, hosted small exhibitions of its recent works and performances.

In addition, we have extended various programmes of workshops to providing training and development in sewing, costume making, Arts administration and marketing while facilitating young people in Apprenticeship training and accredited level 2 Certificate in Event stewarding.
